Italy Wines
The Greeks called Italy Enotria, which means land of wine. Wine and vine industry is a major industry of Italy. Other aperitifs of Italy are also popular, such as the renowned Piedmont Vermouth. Italy matches every dish with a perfectly complementary wine. For instance there are red wines suited with meat and white wine for fish. However one can experiment in Italy and be rewarded still. One of the most famous wines is the Barolo wine produced at Piedmont in Italy, which is considered to be amongst the best of red wines. Dessert wines like Moscato, Malvasia and Marsala produced from Sicily and other excellent wines from Veneto, Tuscany, Piedmont and the Islands are worth tasting in Italy.
