Meals in Italy

Italy:Vegitarian Cuisine

In Italy there are three principal meals: a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner (both traditionally being one dish meals).
The breakfast in Italy might be a light affair of coffee and a pastry known as cappuccino e brioche, or otherwise bread with cheese. Cappuccino combines espresso, steamed milk, foamed milk and an optional bit of chocolate. Cornetto, a pastry filled with nutella or cream, is another popular item of the Italian breakfast.
A dinner in Italy has akin to a lunch.
Nowadays a dinner is considered a major meal following a lighter lunch.
There is a good variation of vegetarian food items in Italy too, as all principal dishes, apart from countless regional specialties, have all kinds of vegetables added.
Among other special dishes Italy offers are risotto, arancini, polenta, gelato (Italian ice cream) and Tiramisù (Italian cake).
Italy is also famous for its cheese and sausages.
